My Story
I really understand what it feels like to struggle with your mental health. My journey into becoming a therapist began over 12 years ago following my own experience of postnatal difficulties as I adjusted to the demands of motherhood a time when I often felt overwhelmed, depressed, disconnected, and lost in myself.
Following the support I received and the positive impact it had on my life, I went on to train as a therapist so I could support others in a similar way.
These experiences shape both who I am and how I work. By combining lived experience with over seven years of professional university training, I offer a deeper, more human understanding of mental health that goes beyond theory alone.
If you’re struggling, feeling overwhelmed, or simply trying to make sense of things, you’re not alone and support is available when you feel ready.

Why I Get It
Reaching out for support can feel really daunting, and I understand that deeply. From my own experience, I know how powerful it can be to feel truly listened to with warmth, without judgement or pressure, and supported in making sense of what you are going through.
I aim to offer a relaxed, down-to-earth space where you can feel comfortable just as you are. Sessions are informal in style and I believe therapy does not have to feel overly clinical or intimidating. I also welcome humour where it feels natural as it can often be a helpful part of the process.
My Approach
I work with adults, young people and couples, including neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients, and I aim to create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I use an integrative approach, blending psychodynamic, attachment-based, CBT, and person-centred counselling. This means our work together is flexible and focused on what feels right for you.
I’m a registered member of the BACP, making sure therapy is safe, respectful, and tailored to your needs. Whether you want to explore your feelings, gain clarity, or find practical ways to cope, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Let’s Work Together, Your Way
Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all thing. It’s about finding what fits you. No pressure, no ticking boxes, just a space where you can be honest, take your time, and figure things out.
Reaching out can feel tough, but you don’t have to have it all figured out. When you’re ready, email me at:
